Michelle L. Rodriguez

Michelle Rodriguez is dedicated to the practice of law.  Michelle has been a licensed attorney in Nevada since 1997.  She was the first attorney in the State to receive a certification and recognition by the American Bar Association and State Bar of Nevada as a Child Welfare Law Specialist (CWLS).  Michelle practices in the rural counties throughout Nevada.  She is passionate about helping people work through the legal system with as little trauma as possible.  Michelle was sitting as the Juvenile and Family Court Hearing Officer in Elko County from May of 2021 through June of 2025.  She is also the Child Support Hearing Officer for White Pine and Lincoln Counties.  Michelle left the bench in Elko County in June, 2025 to return to the practice of helping people and was blessed to join the firm of Mansfield & Mayo, PLLC in July of 2025 and has now transitioned into her own firm, Rodriguez and Else, PLLC.  At Rodriguez and Else, PLLC, Michelle provides trusted legal guidance in all areas of family law, guardianship, dependency, real estate, mediation and estate matters.  With a focus on compassionate advocacy and experienced understanding, Michelle helps clients navigate complex legal challenges.

Michelle loves rural Nevada and remains an active member of the community.  She is a Member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, the National Association of Counsel for Children, a Voting Member of the Children’s Justice Act Committee, a Member of the Elko County & Nevada Bar Association, a Member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and an Active participant in Nevada Community Improvement Council. 

Education

Michelle obtained her Juris Doctorate at Gonzaga University School of Law – Juris Doctor (1997).  While at GU Law, Michelle was on the Dean’s List, Worked in the Legal Clinic and was an active participant in Student Government & Women’s Law Caucus.

Prior to going to Law School, Michelle attended the University of Nevada, Reno – where she earned a B.A. Criminal Justice & B.A. Secondary Education (1994).

Holli Else

Holli Else is an attorney whose legal career began in public service and has since expanded into private practice. A native Nevadan who has lived and worked throughout northern Nevada, she focuses her legal work specifically in Nevada’s rural jurisdictions.

Holli holds a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in education. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2025, earning a place on the Dean's List for five semesters. She served two years on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, one year as an associate and one year as an editor.

During law school, Holli gained broad legal experience through a series of internships, including with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office, the Elko County District Attorney's Office, the Fourth Judicial District Court's Family Court division, and the civil litigation firm of Goicoechea, DiGrazia, Coyle, and Stanton. These experiences gave her exposure to both public and private sectors of law, as well as criminal, civil, and family law matters.

Holli began her legal career as a Deputy District Attorney with the Eureka County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting cases and representing the interests of the state before transitioning into private practice.

Outside of the courtroom, Holli enjoys running and competing in rodeo events.
